East Ranga river is one of the most known rivers in Iceland, specially for its high catch statistics. It is located only 1 hour from Reykjavik in beautiful surroundings and full catering lodge with beautiful view over mountain Hekla and the river.The river has been number one or two for the last 10 years in the number of salmon caught in Iceland. The river is fished with a double handed rod and has easy access for most anglers with no advanced wading required. The fishing is on eight beats with over 22km stretch of water.
The hunting grounds are located just nearby which makes it the perfect combination with no need to change lodges or transfer to another location. The hunting starts early morning on some of the far best hunting areas in Iceland with record catches. We offer top guides, hundreds of geese and fantastic accommodations in our full boarding lodge.
